| God has been so good, so faithful! Sometimes, we find ourselves in times of our life when everything just seems so full on, too much to handle on our own, we are overwhelmed by our circumstances. These feelings seem to come and go quite often. But I am learning everytime I 'feel' like this that my relationship with God is not based on feelings, just as in any relationship. It is love, and love never fails! Love is Faithful. And I want to be Full of faith, no matter what happens in my life, faith in my God, who is bigger than my problems, BIGGER than my circumstances!
When I go through these periods in my life, I realise more and more, that my life rests on the unshakable character of Jesus Christ. And that He is incredibely dependable, completley faithful and unchanging!
And He comes as surely as the sun rises, like the spring rains that water the earth (Hosea 6:3), to free us, carry us, to give our souls rest.
Jesus said "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matt 11:28-30
God has allowed me live out a dream I have always had, to dance. It is the most challenging thing I've ever done, but its awesome! I am spiritually, emotionally and physically being pushed everyday. But I want to sit down at the end of each day and say I have worked with all my heart today, learnt all I can for this day. To wake up every morning and say God, I want to embrace all you have for me today, to seize every moment I can to live out the amazing destiny you have for my life!
Oh if we were to completely embrace, in every moment of every day, all God has for us and for us to do for Him. What would this world look like?
God let us be a generation that seeks, that seeks your face oh God!
